Well, the only thing that stays the same is change right? Turns out not even the subjects that I ponder are free from this rule. You may have noticed that my contributions to this blog have died off for the longest period of time yet. It's because about 2 years ago, my pondering started to become focused on a single subject. That is, the good news of the worlds savior Jesus Christ.

I try to ponder politics and current events and daily life - I really do, but it's to no avail. I've hesitated writing my new ponderings here because this never has been a religious blog and frankly I guessed that the gospel isn't as interesting. But now I'm not so sure. The gospel has become something entirely different than I ever knew it to be and much more exciting.

So here we go. The only way to maintain this blog is to stay true to the things that I actually do ponder and so I'm going to begin doing just that. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Some things you'll need to know. First, I attend church at the local congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - also known as the the Mormon Church. That said, I'm immensely interested in the workings of the entire Christian community. I study and ponder other denominations frequently and share what to me is a surprising amount of beliefs with all Christians. I love the passion and praise in so much of Christian Rock music (www.klove.com). I rejoice in the good news with any and all believers.

So you'll notice a 'restored gospel' flavor to this blog, but it will not proselyte and will celebrate with all Christians.
