Potential

Was talking to some friends today about a mutual friend who took his own life a few months ago.

The guy was a brilliant executive. Dynamic, engaging, energetic and charismatic. I guess there were some personal problems he was dealing with.

Got me thinking though. He's gone now with all his potential which in my mind is separate from his personal problems given I knew nothing about them. Some introspection lead me to think about my own potential separate from my problems and what people would consider a loss if I were gone. There are some things. And that gives me some motivation to expand on them and put them to use.
