I'm rethinking all this doom and gloom.
Yeah, our generation has it's problems - just like every other generation. But as a people we're warm and well fed. Better off than any of our progenitors as far back as can be looked. We're more aware of and doing more for our environment, our minorities and our poor. We enjoy an embarrassing abundance of bounties, freedoms, pleasures and opportunities.
Sure there are threats to all this, but none eclipse in scale those that we have overcome in the past. Should we call it good? No, we should soldier on, but in the mean time, take a moment to well, ...Cheer up!
